On the coming 13th and 14th of March, IFEMA will gather the most representative range of this season’s olive oils: a unique opportunity for producers, importers and professionals in the sector.
This year’s exhibition is a novelty because, while still focusing on bulk olive oil sales, the event will also organize the commercialization of packing for transactions concerning important volumes. Sales target distributors and not the final consumer, with the objective of becoming the International Exhibition of Olive Oil, without adjectives.
Some of the major Spanish oil mills have already confirmed their presence at the second edition of the international meeting for large volumes of olive oil, which will be held the on the coming 13th and 14th of March at Pavilion 1 of the IFEMA.
Commercial agents such as Vegaceites; appellations of origin as Priego de Córdoba, companies like Borges, Espuny Castellar or Actividades Oleícolas S.A. (ACOLSA) and cooperatives such as Almazaras de la Subbética (Cordoba), San Francisco de Villanueva del Arzobispo (Jaén) or S.C.A. Santa Clotilde (Jaen) andAceites del Guadalquivir S.C.A. (Jaen) are just a small sample of the Spanish companies that will be presenting their olive oils at the World Bulk Oil Exhibition.
International olive oils will be represented by companies such as Agroliva International from Tunisia, among others.
Furthermore, among the companies from the entire world that will come to discover and taste the presented olive oils, you will find Fairway Market andGemsa Oils from the United States, Sri Roda Foods from India, Biolevanteand RUATA olio from Italy; Flottweg Separation Technology Inc., one of the major international companies of centrifuges and Enologos, a principal importer of quality olive oil on the German market. In addition to these and also among others, there will be importers from the following countries: Canada, China, France, Russia, Kazakhstan, Mexico and Brazil.
The World Bulk Oil Exhibition will be an exceptional occasion to taste, recognize and compare products from the different production areas in Spain and other countries, at the biggest exhibition on this season’s olive oils.
The first edition of the World Bulk Oil Exhibitionwas held on April 2012 where 134producing and bottling companies participated and over two thousand professionals from all over the world attended. With these facts in mind, the organization faces the challenge of expanding and enhancing the event for its second edition that will be held on the 13th and 14th of March 2013.
WORLD BULK OIL EXHIBITION
The World Bulk Oil Exhibition is organized by the Spanish company Pomona Keepers in collaboration with the bank Global Caja. It came into being due to the need to create a meeting point for international market agents dealing with large volumes of olive oil. This is a new and unique place to highlight the existing high quality and variety of the olive oil sector in the presence of the main international purchasers.
