The World Olive Oil Exhibition and Globalcaja
The WOOE is organized by Pomona Keepers and is sponsored by Globalcaja, which has backed this fair since its beginning.
The WOOE is the world’s biggest fair exclusively devoted to the olive oil sector; and Globalcaja is aware of the importance of this fair for Castile-La Mancha´s surroundings and its companies; therefore we have worked together since the fair began. These initiatives are a success that Castile-La Mancha olive mills needed and deserved, and that explains why Globalcaja continues to promote a fair that increases year on year.
The primary sector has been, is and will be Globalcaja’s fundamental and essential point. It has a promising future and it has overcome periods and moves towards a key and strategic positioning for farmers of Castile-La Mancha. Globalcaja is here in order to strengthen the region’s olive mills, and to help carrying out current projects and to value the daily work of this sector.
For this bank, internationalization of companies is an important challenge, and companies know that we have provided a team of experienced and highly qualified professionals available to them. We offer an efficient and differentiating service.
Globalcaja was the first-ever bank in Castile-La Mancha that took the step to assist the region’s olive mills and cooperatives in each of the stages of and throughout the internationalization process by endorsing their presence in international fairs.
Globalcaja’s department for “Banca Rural”, consisting of a large team of professionals, has been encouraging this service to farmers and stockbreeders since its beginning. Proximity, experience and professionalism are the keys to the success of this service.
Globalcaja’s aim is to be an active part in order to stimulate the olive oil trade and to promote olive oil abroad. Globalcaja is leading and actively endorsing those initiatives that enhance the value of Castile-La Mancha products, via a myriad of agreements and collaborations established with different mills and cooperatives.
This support has provided positive outcomes both for Globalcaja and for its clients.
For the clients, the outcomes have been positive because:
- The partners of the mills are happy.
- Their turnover has increased.
