Madrid, 10th of October 2019. The World Olive Oil Exhibition will once again hold its usual Advisory Committee. The objective of this board is to collaborate in the election of the institutions, organizations, individuals or companies eligible to be awarded at the WOOE. Furthermore, given their extensive knowledge of the sector, the aforementioned Committee will be in charge of choosing the food products that will be awarded at the “Delicatessen With Olive Oil” competition, which is intended for those companies that use olive oil as part of their products.
The Advisory Committee is comprised by: Alicia Vives, Director-General de la ORIVA (Professional Association of Pomace Oil); Cristina de Toro, Director of Agri-food Industries (Government of Andalusia); Alfonso Montaño, Technical Manager of CTAEX; Carmen Morillo, Financial Director of Oleícola Jaén Group; Marcos Reguera, gastronomic consultant and chef; Juan Peñamil, CEO of the publishing group “Mercacei”; María Elena Escobar, Directorate-General of Food, Castile-La Mancha; José María Valdivia, Manager of IFEJA; Sole Román, Manager of the Center for the Olive grove and Olive oil; Juan Vilar, consultant and two executive heads from the World Olive Oil Exhibition; Cesar Colliga, Technical Manager for Designations of Origin at Global Conte, and Aniceto Gómez Martínez, CEO of Aceites Malagón.
The Committee, made up by experts with wide experience in the sector, will start to work towards the 9th World Olive Oil Exhibition which will be held on the 18th and 19th of March 2020 in Pavilion 14 at Madrid’s IFEMA.
